slurping noodles and an Award!

I have joked in the past about feeding the kids Ramen. It's no joke. Add some shrimp and whatever vegetables you have on hand and it's not so bad.

This is a typical meal when we are rushing around getting everyone to where they need to be. Which is never the same place but always at the same time. There is something satisfying about serving up their bowls cafeteria style and being out the door quick as a wink.

What are some of your quick dinners?

Yum, your noodles and vegies looks really yummy actually!! I like having quick meals like that some times, beacause as you say, they all have to be someplace different but unfailingly at the same time! My favorite fast meal is macaroni and cheese! (and it is great comfort food too).

Your blog really is wonderful, you are so deserving of the "fan of your blog" award! Have a good day, Debby

You may laugh but my favorite quick dinner is cooked greens with quinoa (keen-wa). Wrap it in a flour tortilla, add cheese and salsa, yummy!

My quickest dinners requires more work but I'm loving the results. We make a LOT more spaghetti sauce than we need and freeze it in Ziplocks. So tonight we had the sauce and just had to boil the pasta! WHEW! A quick meal...and I needed one! Congrats on your award! I love your blog!

Try Pop Tarts with white wine (red wine if you go with strawberry pop tarts). The kids will really love dinner like that.
