an apron giveaway

005

I made this apron to celebrate the arrival of fair weather. While I was cutting it out I realized I had enough fabric for two.  One for me and one for you.  It is always a good feeling to welcome the pastel colors of spring…robin’s egg blue with a little carnation pink.   Soon enough we will be anxious for the primary colors of summer but for now as we wake from our muted winter grays the pastels are a soft encouragement to welcome the warm changes ahead.

This apron is fully lined and ties at the back, it will fall at the knee for most.

Leave a comment to enter and feel free to link the giveaway on your blog.

I will randomly pick a winner on Wednesday March 23.

I am a very messy cook so need lots of aprons! Would love this one to add to the hook on the back of my pantry door.

When do you find the time to sew, not for one, but, two! Do NOT count me in on the giveaway~ the guilt would consume me as I have a "Freckled Hen" apron I made you 3-4 years ago hanging on the peg on the back of the studio door. Can't let it go because I think of you and smile each time I see it...hanging next to sweet M's matching apron that surely won't fit by now!

What a coincidence! Well, you know I love aprons since I posted about them too. Very pretty apron. I LOVE the ric rack detail on the pockets & those springy pastels :) How are you finding the time to sew with selling your home and washing all of those pillow cases!

Oh my! I sure am glad I stopped by so I could enter to win that darling apron! Loved your comment on my blog, re: the leopard robe. You can get wear one too, you just have to stay at the Harbour Court on Steuart Street! It's a Kimpton hotel...they're really cute inside...boutiquey. Free wi-fi, free wine hour, and coffee in the morning...unlike most hotels that make you pay for every little thing. It's a nice place to stay for work, or any reason!

Love, love, LOVE this apron. I want to sew, but have no place to leave my machine up...so I have been crocheting and doing embroidery to keep my hands busy.

You are so talented, how come I didn't get the "Sewing Talent Gene" in our family?? Mom, Lisa, you and you know Carl is a closet sewer, SEW-ER, not sewer!
Do not put me in the contest, Lisa promised me one a couple years back, heehee, it must be hanging out with yours.

You have no idea how few giveaways I enter ... but the stripes and the rickrack stopped me in my tracks.
