Keds and Sensibility

I lost myself among all the Keds at Zappos.

There are so many styles!

My heart wants plaid but my smart says navy.

And if my mother were taking me shoe shopping like the old days she would say navy matches everything.

She would be right, of course.

I always thought I would grow up and buy the trendiest things.

My wardrobe is very simple with lots of khaki and navy and white.

There is no glittered, neon half-shirt.

But once while visiting my mother’s…

I saw she had leopard printed underwear.

How sensible is that?

Oh, boy, that's funny(mom's undies)! I wish I could wear Keds. I envy those who have the right kind of feet! You should buy the plaid once in awhile it would go with khaki and navy and white!

Thanks for your kind comments. I am shy too and writing is one of the easiest ways for me to express myself. I feel like blogging takes me out of my comfort zone.

P.S. I always love what you write, especially your sense of humor! I totally get it.

Oh, wow, I just went to Zappos and I'm loving the "Champion Calico" Keds, either color.

Now you just need to break in those keds....until you see your big toe joint protruding like Grammy's used to. Light blue denim Keds, bleached linens on the line & Grammy go together like milk & cookies. Miss you girl - love M's pretty little dress! I made FIVE kids totes & crayon rolls today...done by noon! Lovin' the 2nd sewing machine! Can't wait to see you soon...xo

Very practical! After all, if you feel pretty inside, you will be pretty outside, right? Surely that applies to underwear too!
