Whenever I see our cat curled up in the sun I want to take a nap. Can I blame my cat for being lazy?

My youngest used to pray God would let her grow up to be a kitten. No joke. Now, I look at my cat lounging in the sun against the warm brick of our house, and I think "God, let me grow up to be a cat..."
