What do little girls do with a free Sunday afternoon?
They open a restaurant and invite all their friends.
What do Dads and Moms do?
Welcome a dear friend home. No matter how many times we sit in the airport and welcome a troop home it is always emotional. Tony is a great guy and we’re happy he is back with his family.
This is something I don’t write about much on my blog, being an Air Force family…I added a button over on my side bar >>>>>
I remember those first few years of being away from home and being frightfully optimistic. Nearly seventeen years later and we still wonder what is around the corner. If you have any questions about the AF or being a military family please email me. My email is also in the side bar.
Or if you have any questions regarding how many pairs of socks and underwear you should pack for five kids traveling cross country and will be living in a hotel for an undetermined amount of time, I can help with that, too.
= as many pairs of underwear and socks you own.
It’s Monday morning now. Do you know what little boys do when their sister is at school and her restaurant is left unattended?

Such a delightful post! LOVE the pix of Henry! Be sure to share that with Molly.
I'll be mailing their organizers tomorrow. Was hoping to have one done for you too, but, if I wait, the kids will be off to college...xoxo
That last photo is just too precious!

The photo of your son with the apron is priceless! Love your new button, too! I am so proud to know you and your family and appreciate your service to our country! I raised 4 sons...so I remember the math on how much underwear to take! heeheehee! Great post today! Thanks for the smiles! ♥
This is a great post. I miss the And little brother keeping the "grille" open for his big sis...too cute. Always glad to hear one of our troups made it home. Thanks for posting.
Your son will l-o-v-e that picture someday when you show it to his fiance to prove that yes, as a matter of fact, he does cook!
So cute!
Hey, we started out at about the same time. I was married to my Marine in May '92. I was only a Marine wife for three years though.
Every time I see pics of men/women returning to their families from service it makes me want to cry! Brings back those memories!
Great post! Could your boy be any more delectable?
Good for you to reach out to the young women out there with military men...they need you and your mathematical know-how!;)
Thank you for you and your families service to our country!
Your pics are precious of your daughter and son's "resturant"
Too Sweet!
Looks like a lovely "meal". Great pictures.
Thanks to you and your family for supporting and keeping our country safe.
OMG...too funny!! Love the restaurant post and seeing Henry taking over. Love that innocence in a young child <3
