a note

Dearest Primrose,
I love you.
Last night I put you on the table because I know you like the morning sun (me too). This morning you greeted me with such colorful optimism.

You are quiet, kind and delicate. Three things I shall work harder at. Thank you for inspiring me.

Eternally yours,

F. Hen

PS If you Google primula acaulis (under images not web) they are lovely.

I love primroses too. They are so sweet looking. Are you able to keep them long? I've never actually had one, so are they sort of treated like, say a hyacinth? Once they've bloomed you toss them?

LOVE this post. I couldn't say 'no' to little man's baby blue eyes last week, so we brought home 8 primroses & a rod iron bench from Lowes for the front stoop last week! Do you grow african violets?? I neglected mine all winter, now they are budding. I don't deserve their beauty!
