Sigh.
The crib will soon be dismantled and put away.
This corner will soon look like it belongs to a little boy, not a baby boy.
He will have a pillow and his own little lamp, he will like these things.
I love having a baby in the house. It always makes me sad to pack up the crib.

Aw... that's really sweet. Maybe Ashley is right thought! :)
AAhhh...he needs a big boy bed! You'll have fun getting that ready, too. Time just flies....♥
Ha ha -- I love Ashley's spirit!
If you want your money's worth from that crib...I think she's right :)
You are such a romantic........LOL. Now I feel guilty for wanting to get rid of our crib. I could not wait to put a bed in her room, to allow her to experience freedom. Oh, but how I miss those baby years....SIGH.
I had such a nice time going back a few post tonight and catching up in your blog. It is bittersweet to pack up the crib. It's been awhile since I remembered that. My heart goes out to you with compassion as you move through another milestone in life.
Oh my, am nearing that same stage myself with our youngest and I am suddenly finding myself wondering if four would really be that big a jump. There comes those clear moments when the little one just isn't a baby anymore... those baby days gone.
Thanks for the birthday wishes! Talk to you when I get back! Have a good week! ♥
