This is a letter of apology for all the times we thought you were a mean old man. Perhaps you are a mean old man but after reading The Tale of Peter Rabbit to each of my children over and over for 16+ years I now know why.
Each morning when I wake this rabbit taunts me. He sits in the middle of the garden and stares at me. It's unnerving. I feel the need to grab a metal rake and chase him down (sound familiar?). He is getting more and more bold letting me get within five feet of him before he boing boing boings away. I don't like him.
He even teases the cat. I am embarrassed to admit my cat is named Peter after the mischievous rabbit in your garden. Will you forgive me?
This morning I found these in the garden. What should I do next?
I tried this but I almost think he laughed at me, but then again it might have been the neighbors.
